Jennifer Rickerby, FNP-BC

Jennifer Rickerby is a Family Nurse practitioner who is pursuing her dual certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner. Jennifer is a dedicated healthcare professional who has worked in the pediatrics side of healthcare as a registered nurse for over three decades. In 2016 Jennifer completed her Master of Science in Nursing Degree in Nurse Education at Liberty University. Jennifer earned her Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from George Mason University. In 2022, Jennifer took on the role of an Assistant Professor at George Mason University where she focused on teaching the Pediatrics curriculum and served as faculty for the Mason and Partners free clinics.

Due to her vast studies and immense amount of experience in the field, Jennifer can serve a large population of patients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, developmental disorders, domestic abuse/violence, intellectual disability, self-harming, transgender, teen violence, and many more diagnoses. Through her experience she has identified Culturally Sensitive; Compassion-Focused; and Mindfulness-Based (MBCT) are some of the best modes of treatment for her patients.
