Sabrina Hawa, MSW

Please welcome Sabrina Hawa, MSW, to Bloom Health Centers as a therapist. Sabrina holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she conducted research on the role of race-related risk experiences in cultural resiliency. She then earned her Master of Social Work, specializing in clinical social work.
With a background in psychology, sociology, and social work, Sabrina takes a holistic approach to therapy, focusing on both the individual and the broader societal factors that impact mental health. This perspective drives her passion for working with diverse populations to provide effective, tailored therapeutic interventions.
During her graduate studies, Sabrina worked with community-based organizations focused on psychoeducation and expanding access to mental health resources for underserved children, adolescents, and adults. After completing her post-graduate studies, she gained valuable clinical experience in a mental health hospital, where she provided crisis intervention therapy, psychoeducation, and access to community-based mental health resources, while also working with various therapeutic modalities.
