Professional Background and Expertise

Despite her academic and professional achievements, Kaitlyn values authenticity over polished resumes and accolades. “Life doesn’t always go as planned, but with each new season, we have an opportunity to discover more about ourselves and the world around us. Whether this is your first time in therapy or a welcome return, I want to be a part of your journey. I won’t have all the answers, but I can always offer a listening ear and a restful space as we explore and find our way together.” Kaitlyn specializes in navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, stress, interpersonal conflicts, and men’s issues. Her approach is integrative and tailored to each individual, drawing from person-centered therapy, interpersonal therapy, couples counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and faith-based counseling. “Please know it’s okay to not be okay, your experiences matter — You matter, and I’m glad you’re here. ‘Accept what is, release what was, and have faith in what will be.’ I want to know who you are. Let’s talk about it.”

Kaitlyn works with adults 18+ and is licensed in Virginia and Maryland. In her role as Therapy Department Manager, she is passionate about increasing access to care and supporting a warm, growth-oriented clinical environment.
